I have been traveling since I was born. The first year I was alive, I did over 100k in flying. From there, I continued to travel with my family, and after high school I took a year off from school to explore the world.
This time helped me to really travel off the beaten path, learn about myself, and learn about how others live and appreciate life and during that year I became a professional scuba instructor, which led me to work for a travel and dive shop in Boulder, CO.
I continued to grow my love for travel, and worked for multiple luxury travel companies. During that time, I returned to graduate school to pursue my MBA and learned about analytics and AI technology, realizing that many tasks could be automated as a travel agent.
So, I came up with the idea of Catalina Quest, where we combined travel professional knowledge with AI to create custom-made vacations.
Our goal is to build a boutique luxury travel company that is human-centric and augmented by technology to provide more thoughtful and curated vacations at a more affordable price.
